Blood Strike Gold Top Up: Expiry Rules & Pass Refund 2026

Blood Strike Gold top up: purchased Gold never expires, timed Gold lapses at season end, and a completed 520 Gold Strike Pass returns 520 Gold at tier 50.

Does your Gold expire?

Only the earned half of it. A Blood Strike Gold top up credits permanent Gold that never expires. Bonus, event and pass-reward Gold is timed and lapses at season reset, usually 4–6 weeks after launch. Both sit in one wallet; the countdown lives under Settings > Account > Currency Details.

That window is the season itself. Blight Horizon ran 42 days (December 15, 2026 – January 26, 2026) and Urban Pulse closed September 14, 2026, so Gold claimed in week five has days left, not weeks.

The store screen shows one combined total, which is how people talk themselves into a purchase they can't spend in time. For a balance that stays put, buy the label marked permanent — buffget's Blood Strike permanent Gold top up lists pack sizes and bonus tiers before you pay, and delivery lands in your wallet.

Where the expiry timer lives

Settings > Account > Currency Details lists every Gold label with its type and expiry date. The Strike Pass tab's seasonal panel carries the season countdown, and push alerts fire at 7 days, 3 days and 24 hours before expiry. Screenshot that screen before every purchase — it settles arguments with support later.

What happens when it hits zero

Expired Gold is gone: no grace period, no ticket restores it. Rewards you already claimed stay in your inventory. Unclaimed Strike Pass rewards are wiped at the next season start, and accumulated timed Gold keeps its own expiry date instead of inheriting the new season's clock.

Permanent vs. timed Gold

The two labels in your wallet

Purchased Gold from any top-up lands as permanent and never expires. Gold from login rewards, events, promotions and Strike Pass tiers is timed and expires at season end. One point is genuinely murky: guides disagree on whether a completed pass returns permanent or timed Gold, so check the label on your own wallet after your first full clear.

Which balance gets spent first

Timed Gold is deducted first on every purchase, then permanent Gold covers the remainder. That applies to the 520 Gold Strike Pass too — good news if you're holding expiring currency, bad news if you assumed paid Gold was untouched.

What the 520 Gold Strike Pass gives back

The Elite Strike Pass costs 520 Gold per season and runs about 50 tiers across a 42-day season. Clear every tier and the reward track returns 520 Gold: net cost zero, plus a 30–40% cut to what you'd spend chasing cosmetics one crate at a time.

Gold returned across the tier track

Tier bandGold back
1–1080–100
11–20120–150
21–30150–180
31–40120–140
41–5050–70

Tiers 11–30 carry the track, returning 270–330 Gold, while 31–50 gives 170–210. Stop at tier 30 and you hold 390 Gold back — 75% of the cost — so quitting mid-season is a partial loss, not a total one.

The Elite track also holds cosmetics worth 2000+ Gold. The free track is 15–20% of rewards and grants the P90 Burst Bolt attachment. The Premium track adds everything in Elite, gives instant access up to Tier 20, and throws in Ultra skins for the M700, SPEAR, PKM, shotguns and M4A1 Sea Wraith.

If you already bought the pass

Progress comes from Daily Missions — 1–2 tiers and 150–250 Gold a day, resetting midnight UTC — plus weekly challenges in six cycles per season. A 42-day season needs 1.19–1.2 tiers daily for tier 50; two tiers a day finishes in 25 days with 17 to spare. There are no purchasable tier skips.

If Steam refuses the pass purchase, buy 520 Gold in the in-game store (1040 for Premium) and pay with your balance. Players topping up just to access the track can grab a Blood Strike Gold recharge for Elite Strike Pass at competitive pricing with fast delivery, then buy the pass in the same session.

Timing the pass purchase

Spend expiring Gold on the pass first — the deduction order guarantees timed currency is consumed before anything you paid real money for. Time left in the season sets your tier ceiling:

  • 25+ days left: all 50 tiers
  • 20–24 days: 40–48 tiers
  • 15–19 days: 30–38 tiers
  • Under 10 days: fewer than 20 tiers

The practical purchase window is day 10–20 of the season, roughly day 17 for moderate players, and hardcore grinders can wait until day 25–27. Season launches cluster on the 15th — Blood Rage (Dec 15, 2025), Dark Take (Jan 15, 2026), Velvetopia (May 15, 2026), Urban Pulse (Aug 15, 2026) — so mark that date and count backwards.

If the season ends with tiers unclaimed, those rewards are deleted at reset. Claimed cosmetics stick around, and Gold you already claimed keeps burning down on its own schedule. Don't leave tiers unclaimed over a reset.

Top-up amounts and bonus tiers

The best rate here is the 5,000 + 800 pack at roughly $0.0086 per Gold, since the bonus pushes it to 5,800 Gold total. The largest packs approach a 16% bonus rate.

PackApp Store price
50 Gold$0.49
100 + 5 Gold$0.99
500 + 40 Gold$5.99
1,000 + 100 Gold$11.99
2,000 + 260 Gold$22.99
5,000 + 800 Gold$49.99

There's also a 300 + 20 mid-tier pack outside that price list, and authorized resellers list the same line below retail — 100 + 5 Gold around $0.74 and 5,000 + 800 around $37.46, with the Elite pass near $3.53 and Premium near $7.94. Platform gift cards (iTunes, Google Play, Steam Wallet) bought at 10–15% off convert to Gold through official stores.

Before paying, you need only the account User ID — Settings > Account, or tap the avatar in the upper-left corner — never a password or verification code. Accepted payments are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with mobile carrier billing limited to certain regions and carriers. Gold is tied to your account's server region and can't move between accounts.

Bonus Gold and first purchase offers

The tiers above (100+5 through 5,000+800) are the standing pack bonuses. Whether bonus Gold is flagged permanent or timed varies by promotion, so treat Currency Details as the authority rather than the store banner. Seasonal event packages often carry better bonus ratios than standard tiers, and Gold Stash Vouchers from Match Challenge and Hero's Trial events discount purchases outright.

Region pricing and taxes

The prices above are US App Store list prices; local tax, currency conversion and regional storefronts shift the final total. Mobile purchases settle through your platform account, and NetEase's December 18, 2025 policy warns that top-ups made through accounts or Apple IDs that aren't yours can trigger Gold removal, suspension or a permanent ban.

Checks that fix it most of the time

Delivery typically takes 1–2 minutes and can stretch to 24 hours at peak. Restart the game to refresh a stuck balance before anything else. Then confirm the User ID digits you typed, the server region of the account you logged into, and whether a reversed payment pushed your balance negative.

When to contact support

Past 5 minutes with nothing in the wallet, contact support with the Transaction ID, payment receipt, User ID and payment confirmation at bloodstrike@global.netease.com. Refund policy is strict: processing a refund deducts the Gold back out, a balance below zero disables match participation until you're positive again, and more than 3 refunds in one year triggers a permanent ban. No refund applies when the error came from information you supplied. Mobile storefront disputes route through Apple or Google Play.

A season-long spending plan

If you only buy one thing

Make it the Elite Pass and let free Gold fund it:

  • Login rewards: 50–200 Gold per cycle
  • Hot Zone wins: 450–600 weekly
  • Free track: about 520 per season
  • Invite events: 100–150

Redeem codes (Event tab > speaker icon > Redemption Code, case-sensitive, once per account) still work: BSREWARD10K, BLOODSTRIKEFB, TYSTRIKERS, 5MSTRIKERS for the MP155 skin, LAUNCHGIFT for the Glacier Axe, and BSTT2MPLAYERS for Gold Stash Voucher ×10.

If you buy the pass every season

Reserve 520 permanent Gold as a season fund and burn timed Gold on pulls and crates. Everything else is a sink: premium Strikers around 800 Gold, top-tier weapon finishes 6,000–7,500, Limited Stash openings 90–150, and crates charging a fixed fee per attempt with no single-pull guarantee. Cosmetics never change damage, recoil or handling.

Top up only through the in-game store or blood-strike.com, enable two-factor authentication, and ignore any free Gold generator — none of them work.

FAQ

Does Blood Strike Gold expire?

Purchased Gold stays in your wallet indefinitely. The promotional half — events, login cycles, pass rewards — carries an expiry tied to the season. Check Settings > Account > Currency Details before a big purchase so you know which balance is funding it.

What is timed Gold in Blood Strike?

It's free promotional currency with a built-in deadline, granted for events, promotions and Strike Pass tiers. It's the same spendable currency as paid Gold, but it burns down first and disappears when the season clock runs out. Nothing you do extends the date.

Does the Strike Pass refund the 520 Gold?

Not as a money refund. Tier rewards return Gold as you level, and clearing the track hands back the full cost of the pass. Requesting a real-money refund is different: NetEase claws the Gold back out of your wallet and locks matches if you go negative.

Can I buy the Strike Pass with timed Gold?

Yes, and you should. Timed Gold is always deducted before permanent Gold, so an expiring balance covers the pass first and leaves paid currency intact. The game won't warn you which label funded the purchase, so screenshot the wallet beforehand.

Why is my Gold balance lower after a top up?

Usually one of three things: the screen is mixing permanent and timed labels, a timed balance just expired, or a refund left you negative. Restart to refresh the figure, compare it to Currency Details, and only then raise a ticket with your Transaction ID.

How much Gold does the Strike Pass give back?

Enough to cover the full cost of the pass if you claim every tier before the season wraps. Returns are front-loaded toward the middle of the track, so a half-finished pass hands back most — not all — of what you spent. Clear tier 50 before reset to break even.
