On 2026-11-06, Midasbuy and the App Store charged the same base prices for Honor of Kings Tokens in the US, and almost the same in Indonesia and Malaysia. The Philippines was different. Midasbuy sold 800 Tokens for ₱499 against ₱599 and 1,200 for ₱799 against ₱999. That works out to 20–25% more Tokens per dollar.
I pulled the Midasbuy Honor of Kings shelves for four countries (US, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia) and the same four App Store listings on the same day, 2026-11-06. Then I converted everything at one daily rate. Most "web vs app" pieces stop at "web has bonuses." This one compares the base price tags side by side, country by country. Then it separates what Midasbuy actually puts in writing about first-top-up bonuses from what players assume.
One rule covers the whole article. Every price below was read off a live official page on the grab date. If a page didn't show it, the cell says so. On First Bonus, the piece cites both the visible shelf tags ("Up to 100% Bonus", "FIRST TOP-UP GET REWARDS!", "First Bonus" / "Bonus Pertama") and the pack-level bonus Token counts from the logged-out shelf's SERVER_DATA field shelf.products[].base_group.promotion_list[].gift_list[].quantity (not game_coins_num), reproduced on 2026-11-06 for US / PH / ID / MY.
The 60-second answer
| Question | Answer (checked 2026-11-06) | Source |
|---|---|---|
| US: is Midasbuy cheaper than the App Store? | No. Base prices match on every pack both list ($0.29 / $0.99 / $2.99 / $4.99 / $9.99 / $14.99 / $49.99) | Midasbuy US shelf; App Store US |
| Philippines? | Yes, on three packs. 240 Tokens ₱179 vs ₱199; 800 Tokens ₱499 vs ₱599; 1,200 Tokens ₱799 vs ₱999 | Midasbuy PH shelf; App Store PH |
| Indonesia? | Same rupiah price on every pack both list (23 / 80 / 240 / 400 / 800) | Midasbuy ID shelf; App Store ID |
| Malaysia? | Same on most packs. 400 Tokens is RM0.09 more on Midasbuy (RM22.99 vs RM22.90), and 2,400 is RM0.90 more (RM139.90 vs RM139.00) | Midasbuy MY shelf; App Store MY |
| Best base Tokens per US$ found | ≈102.9 (80 Tokens for ₱49, on both Midasbuy PH and App Store PH) | Same pages + FX |

What I compared, and what I left out
The comparison only works if both sides use the same unit, so here are the ground rules.
- Base price only for the comparison tables. Midasbuy's Honor of Kings shelf tags packs "First Bonus" (Indonesia: "Bonus Pertama"), the page title/meta advertise "Up to 100% Bonus" / "Bonus Hingga 100%", and the shelf button reads "FIRST TOP-UP GET REWARDS!". Pack-level First Bonus Token counts from logged-out
SERVER_DATA→gift_list[].quantityare tabulated in their own section below. The price tables still compare base Tokens against the price tag so the storefronts stay apples-to-apples. - Same-day prices. Every Midasbuy and App Store page was read on 2026-11-06 (Asia/Shanghai). Currency conversion uses open.er-api.com's USD table from the same day, last updated 2026-11-06 00:02 UTC (08:02 Asia/Shanghai): ₱63.02, Rp18,080 and RM4.046 per US$1.
- App Store "visible list" caveat. Apple's web listing shows roughly the top ten in-app purchases per country, and it mixes in Weekly Card and event items. A pack missing from that list was not listed on the page. That doesn't prove the pack is missing in-game. Those cells are marked so.
- Taxes and payment fees aren't included. Both storefronts show a tag price. What your card or e-wallet actually charges at checkout can differ by method and country.
Table 1: local base prices, Midasbuy vs App Store (2026-11-06)
The shaded cells are where the two storefronts disagree. "Not on list" means the pack wasn't among the items Apple's web page showed for that country.

Take the Philippines out and the story is short. The US shelf is a mirror image of the App Store. Indonesia's is too, rupiah for rupiah. Malaysia's is a near-mirror where Midasbuy is a few sen to ninety sen worse on two packs. If you were told Midasbuy's base price is always cheaper than the App Store, these three countries say otherwise on 2026-11-06.

Country by country
United States: flat 80 Tokens per dollar, wherever you buy
The US is the cleanest result. Every pack both storefronts list has an identical tag, from 23 Tokens at $0.29 to 4,000 Tokens at $49.99. Every pack converts to roughly 80 Tokens per dollar, small or large. There's no volume discount either: 8,000 Tokens for $99.99 is the same rate as 80 Tokens for $0.99.
What a US buyer actually picks between is bonus eligibility and payment method, not the base price. Midasbuy's US shelf also has 8, 16, 560, 2,400 and 8,000 Token packs that the App Store page didn't show. That helps if you need an exact amount, but it doesn't change the rate.
Philippines: the only country where the web tag is lower
Three of the Philippine packs are where the comparison gets interesting:
- 800 Tokens: ₱499 on Midasbuy vs ₱599 on the App Store. The store is 20.0% more expensive, or 101.0 vs 84.2 Tokens per dollar.
- 1,200 Tokens: ₱799 vs ₱999. The store is 25.0% more expensive (94.6 vs 75.7).
- 240 Tokens: ₱179 vs ₱199. The store is 11.2% more expensive (84.5 vs 76.0).
On 23, 80 and 400 Tokens the two tags match exactly. The Philippine Midasbuy shelf also isn't a smooth curve: 2,400 Tokens (₱1,790) and 4,000 Tokens (₱2,990) work out to about 84 Tokens per dollar, clearly worse than 800 at ₱499 or 8,000 at ₱4,990 (both ≈101). On the base tag, three 800-Token packs (₱1,497) give the same 2,400 Tokens as one 2,400 pack for ₱293 less. That holds as long as you aren't chasing a first-purchase bonus on the bigger slot.
The single best base rate on the whole sheet is the humble 80 Tokens for ₱49 (≈102.9 per dollar), and it's identical on both storefronts. For Philippine players, the pack that changes the decision is 800 or 1,200 Tokens, not 80.
Indonesia: identical rupiah, good rate on both
Every pack the Indonesian App Store page showed (23, 80, 240, 400, 800) has the same rupiah price on Midasbuy. At the day's rate Indonesia sits at about 90–93 Tokens per dollar across the shelf, roughly 13–15% more than the US. Midasbuy's 560 Tokens at Rp109,000 is the best base rate on the Indonesian shelf at ≈92.9. The Indonesian App Store list didn't show 1,200 Tokens or anything larger, so for bigger amounts Midasbuy was the only one of the two with a visible base tag.
Malaysia: the most expensive of the four, and Midasbuy isn't lower
Malaysia came in lowest of the four countries at 62–72 Tokens per dollar. Base tags mostly match, and where they don't, the App Store is cheaper: 400 Tokens is RM22.90 in the store vs RM22.99 on Midasbuy, and 2,400 Tokens is RM139.00 vs RM139.90. Those are small gaps. They still contradict any blanket claim that the web shelf always beats the store on the base price.
Which packs only show up on Midasbuy
Midasbuy lists the same 12 Token sizes in all four countries: 8, 16, 23, 80, 240, 400, 560, 800, 1,200, 2,400, 4,000 and 8,000. The App Store pages showed a different subset in each country:
| Pack | US AS | PH AS | ID AS | MY AS |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 / 16 / 560 | Not on list | Not on list | Not on list | Not on list |
| 1,200 | $14.99 | ₱999 | Not on list | RM69.90 |
| 2,400 | Not on list | Not on list | Not on list | RM139.00 |
| 4,000 | $49.99 | Not on list | Not on list | Not on list |
| 8,000 | Not on list | Not on list | Not on list | Not on list |
Apple's web page shows a limited number of in-app items and mixes in Weekly Card Plus, "Auto-Renewing," "Paid Event" and "Limited Time Event" entries. On the US page, three of the ten visible slots were non-Token items on 2026-11-06. "Not on list" ≠ "not sold in-game."
The practical takeaway is narrow. If you want an exact amount, such as 560 Tokens for a specific hero or 16 to top off a balance, the web shelf shows it with a tag. The App Store web listing doesn't confirm it.
The first-top-up bonus: visible tags, pack-level counts, and what stays unstated
This is the question players keep asking. The base-price tables above still exclude First Bonus Tokens so storefronts stay comparable. If a recharge slot is still unused, the bonus can outweigh every price gap above. On 2026-11-06 the logged-out Honor of Kings shelf HTML for US, PH, ID and MY all carried the same pack-level First Bonus Token counts inside SERVER_DATA, at the path shelf.products[].base_group.promotion_list[].gift_list[].quantity (do not use the nearby game_coins_num=1 field). Visible tags stay in the picture too: page title/meta "Up to 100% Bonus" / "Bonus Hingga 100%", shelf button "FIRST TOP-UP GET REWARDS!", and per-pack "First Bonus" (Indonesia: "Bonus Pertama").

Visible tags on the same shelves: "Up to 100% Bonus", "FIRST TOP-UP GET REWARDS!", "First Bonus" / "Bonus Pertama". The field gift_limit.personal_limit.total=1 means that gift is once per person on that promo; it does not by itself prove that an App Store purchase or the Epic-skin gift shares the same slot.
Here's what Midasbuy's Honor of Kings event page says, quoted directly:
- "Only at Midasbuy, recharge the in-game currency - HOK Tokens, you can claim up to 100% extra bonus on first purchase!" Event time: "Long-term."
- "You can enjoy the first-purchase bonus once per each recharge slot."
- "Recharge at Midasbuy for the first time, you can also claim the in-game first-purchase gift: With a one-time top-up of US$0.99 or above, you can get one of three epic skins for novice heroes."
- "You can't enjoy the first-purchase bonus and regular bonus at the same time."
- A separate "Extra 6%-15% Regular Purchase Bonus," described as available "only at Midasbuy" on "a daily basis," also long-term.

Where the official wording stops
| Player question | What the HoK Midasbuy page / shelf says | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Is "first top-up" per pack size or once per account? | "once per each recharge slot." Each pack size is its own slot. | Stated |
| How many bonus Tokens does a given pack add? | See the First Bonus table above (gift_list[].quantity, four regions identical on 2026-11-06). Visible tags: "Up to 100% Bonus" / "FIRST TOP-UP GET REWARDS!" / "First Bonus" (ID: "Bonus Pertama"). | Stated in SERVER_DATA + visible tags |
| If I already bought 800 Tokens through the App Store, is the Midasbuy 800 slot still "first"? | Not addressed | Not found |
| Does an App Store purchase count toward the Epic skin gift? | The gift wording names "Recharge at Midasbuy for the first time" | Store eligibility not stated |
| Does a non-official reseller top-up count as "first time at Midasbuy"? | Not addressed | Not found |
| Do first-purchase and the daily 6–15% bonus stack? | "You can't enjoy the first-purchase bonus and regular bonus at the same time." | Stated: no |
Does personal_limit.total=1 mean store / Epic share one slot with Midasbuy? | That field only caps the gift once per person on the Midasbuy promo | Cross-channel share not stated |
One trap is worth flagging. Midasbuy's page for a different game, NIKKE, says plainly that its first-purchase bonus works "either in game or in Midasbuy" and that recharging in-game first rules out the Midasbuy bonus for that slot. The Honor of Kings page has no such sentence. Don't carry the NIKKE rule over to HoK. Whether a store top-up eats the Midasbuy first-purchase slot, and whether store top-ups count toward the Epic skin gift, stay not stated on the HoK page.
After a given slot is spent, go back to the base price tables above, where the US, Indonesia and most of Malaysia are a tie on the tag price. The Philippines still wins on base for 240 / 800 / 1,200 even without First Bonus.
The mechanism on video
Midasbuy's own videos show the "first top-up double" shelf layout. They're good for explaining how the label looks. Treat the prices in them as history: they're from 2024 and don't match the 2026-11-06 tags above.
VIDEO "Enjoy 100% extra bonus…" by Midasbuy Official, YouTube, 2024-07-30. Jump to 00:30–00:33 for the First Top-up Double shelf (pairs like 8+8, 80+80). Mechanism only, not today's prices.
VIDEO Midasbuy Official, YouTube, 2024-12-13. 00:21–00:24 shows the "extra 10% only at Midasbuy" card; 00:27–00:33 highlights the first-top-up double shelf. The current Midasbuy event page says 6%–15% for the regular bonus, so treat the 10% card as a 2024 snapshot.
Why the base tag still matters after your slots are used
Once each recharge slot is spent, the 100% label goes away. The page then describes the "regular" bonus (6%–15%) as the ongoing Midasbuy perk, and it doesn't stack with first-purchase. The public shelf didn't list a regular-bonus figure per pack, so I'm not adding one to the tables. What I can say from the published wording:
- US: the base tag ties. Any regular bonus Midasbuy applies on top is upside over the App Store; the public shelf still doesn't list a per-pack regular-bonus Token figure (First Bonus counts above are first-purchase only).
- Philippines: Midasbuy already wins on base for 240 / 800 / 1,200. Any regular bonus widens that gap.
- Malaysia: on 400 and 2,400 the App Store base tag is RM0.09 and RM0.90 lower. Even a small web regular bonus would likely cover that; First Bonus is a separate, once-per-slot figure already tabulated above.
That's why the article leads with base prices. They're the one number both storefronts publish publicly on the same day.
What you'd spend Tokens on this month (official November events)
Price per Token matters more when there's something to spend it on. The official Honor of Kings account on X posted these Token sinks for the November "11/11 Skin Bonanza":
| Event | Dates (2026) | Token figure | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| New Epic Skin for 1 Token: Triumphant Knight Guan Yu | Event 11/5–11/17; skin available 11/11 | Earn a 709-Token voucher; use it in the skin's first week to pay "as low as 1 Token" | @HonorOfKings on X, early Nov 2026 |
| Lucky Mystery Box | 11/5–12/4 | 99 Tokens per box; guaranteed skin, "chance to obtain a Legend skin"; first box preview free | @HonorOfKings on X, early Nov 2026 |
| Accumulated purchases → Hou Yi limited skin | 11/5–11/18 | Thresholds not given in the post | Official @hokglobal TikTok post, early Nov 2026 |
Here's a quick check with the day's base rates. One 99-Token box costs about $1.24 at the US's 80 Tokens per dollar, about $0.96 at the Philippine 800-pack rate (≈101), and about $1.47 at Malaysia's 800-pack rate (≈67.4). That's simple division of 99 Tokens by the rate in Table 2. It ignores bonuses and assumes you already hold the Tokens. The Guan Yu offer is a voucher discount, not free Tokens, so it doesn't change any Token-per-dollar figure.
Version context
The App Store listing showed version 12.1.1.1, dated Sep 22. Its release notes open with "Season 16, Flow As One, will officially begin on 9/23." No newer build was listed on the 2026-11-06 check, so these prices sit inside the Season 16 build. They aren't tied to a fresh client patch.

Buffget's own page, labeled separately
For readers comparing a non-store option, here's Buffget's catalog, kept out of the official tables above so the two aren't confused. The Buffget Honor of Kings top-up page listed these on 2026-11-06:
| Buffget pack | Page price (US$) | Tokens per US$ |
|---|---|---|
| 240 Tokens | $2.64 | 90.9 |
| 400 Tokens | $4.40 | 90.9 |
| 560 Tokens | $6.17 | 90.8 |
| 830 Tokens | $8.81 | 94.2 |
| 2,508 Tokens | $26.46 | 94.8 |
| 4,180 Tokens | $44.11 | 94.8 |
| 8,360 Tokens | $88.22 | 94.8 |
Source: buffget.com/goods/honor-of-kings, page prices as displayed 2026-11-06. Percent-off badges not used. Compare against Table 2: US official ≈80, ID ≈90–93, PH 800/8,000 ≈101 base.
Read it in context. Against the US official rate of about 80 Tokens per dollar, the Buffget page is higher. Against the Philippine official 800 and 8,000 packs (≈101 base), it isn't. Buffget delivers by Player ID, so it doesn't decide whether a Midasbuy first-purchase slot stays unused. That's still on Midasbuy's side, and still "not stated."
Decision table
| Your situation | What the 2026-11-06 numbers support |
|---|---|
| US account, slot already used | Base price ties on every listed pack. Choose by payment method or any regular bonus still offered on the shelf. |
| Philippine account buying 800 or 1,200 | Midasbuy tag is ₱100–₱200 lower than the App Store on the same pack. |
| Philippine account needing ~2,400 | 3 × 800 (₱1,497) beats one 2,400 (₱1,790) on base. Check slot bonuses before splitting. |
| Indonesian account | Same rupiah price on every pack both list. Midasbuy 560 (≈92.9/$) is the best base rate on the shelf. |
| Malaysian account buying 400 or 2,400 | App Store base tag is lower by RM0.09 / RM0.90. |
| Any pack size you've never bought anywhere | Midasbuy says first-purchase is once per recharge slot. Pack-level First Bonus Tokens are in the table above (e.g. 80→+80, 800→+160). Whether a store purchase uses the Midasbuy slot up isn't stated. |
FAQ
Is the Midasbuy first-top-up bonus once per account?
No. Midasbuy's Honor of Kings page says the first-purchase bonus applies "once per each recharge slot," which means once per pack size. The public shelf shows the visible tags ("Up to 100% Bonus", "FIRST TOP-UP GET REWARDS!", "First Bonus" / "Bonus Pertama"), and the logged-out SERVER_DATA gift_list[].quantity values for every listed pack are in the First Bonus table above (small packs +100%, 240 Tokens and up +20%). Cross-channel / Epic-skin slot sharing with the store is still not stated.
Do I get the Epic skin if my first purchase was in the App Store?
The gift is worded as "Recharge at Midasbuy for the first time… one-time top-up of US$0.99 or above… one of three epic skins for novice heroes." The page doesn't say whether earlier store purchases affect that. Treat it as unconfirmed until it's visible on your own account.
Why is the 80-Token pack the best rate in the Philippines?
₱49 converts to about $0.78, and 80 ÷ 0.78 ≈ 102.9. Both storefronts price it the same, so it's a strong rate but it doesn't help you choose between them. The 800 and 1,200 packs are where the storefronts diverge.
Are Midasbuy prices the same in every country?
No. In US-dollar terms the same 800 Tokens cost $9.99 in the US, about $7.92 in the Philippines, $8.85 in Indonesia and $11.86 in Malaysia at the 2026-11-06 rate. Which shelf you see depends on your account and region, and this article doesn't cover changing regions.
Weekly Card renewal says "payment failed." Is my card the problem?
Not necessarily. On Reddit in late 2025, several players reported this error when renewing before the previous card had fully run out. Replies said renewal only works after a full 7×24 hours. That's community testimony, and I didn't find the rule in Apple's listing or Midasbuy's HoK page. If you hit it, wait until the current card has fully expired before assuming a payment problem.
Will these prices still hold next week?
Not guaranteed. They're snapshots from 2026-11-06. The November Skin Bonanza runs into December, and storefront tags can change without a client update. Re-check the Midasbuy shelf and App Store listing on the day you buy.
