Do Blood Strike Golds Expire? Permanent vs Timed 2026
Blood Strike Golds top up currency is permanent and never expires — only event Timed Gold lapses at season end. The 520 Gold Elite Pass refunds at Tier 50.
Do your Golds expire?
Base Golds bought through a Blood Strike Golds top up are permanent premium currency. They don't expire, don't reset at season end, and sit in your wallet until you spend them. Only Timed Gold — the free kind from events, missions, and Strike Pass tiers — lapses at 23:59 local time on the season's last day.
Where the expiry shows up
Open Settings > Account > Currency Details: the wallet splits into your permanent total and a Timed Gold line marked with a clock icon and a live countdown. The Strike Pass tab carries a seasonal panel with the remaining season time — the actual deadline for anything Timed. Right now that's Bunny Force, 2026-10-15 to 11-14.
Push notifications fire at 7 days, 3 days, and 24 hours before Timed Gold lapses. If you're buying Gold to spend before the season closes, buffget's blood strike golds top up page lists the live pack tiers with competitive pricing and fast delivery.
What 'permanent' means
Gold stays on the account until you spend it — no rollover, no decay, no expiry date anywhere in the interface. It's bound to your account and server region and can't be moved. One UID covers iOS (11.0+), Android, and the Windows PC client, and Gold bought on any platform applies account-wide.
Two kinds of Gold in one wallet
The store shows a combined total, but two currencies are stacked inside it. Golds are the premium currency — bought with real money and spent on the Elite Strike Pass, Striker unlocks, weapon skins, crates, and rename services. Silver is earned through matches, missions, and the pass, and it never reaches the premium storefront.
Base Golds from a top up
Everything in a purchased pack is permanent, including the bonus Gold printed on the pack. The 2,000 + 260 tier hands over 2,260 Gold that stays put. Packs above 2,000 base Gold push past a 15% bonus rate, where the value separates from the small tiers.
Bonus and event Golds
The free route is different. Event milestones, daily and weekly missions, login rewards, promotional mail, and redeem codes all pay out Timed Gold, and it expires with the season. Top-up bonuses are permanent; mail-attachment bonuses usually aren't. Checkout quietly helps — Timed Gold is deducted before permanent Gold on every purchase, so free currency gets spent first.
Daily missions run 150–250 Gold a day and Hot Zone wins pay 450–600 a week, but most of that is Timed. First-purchase and promotional packs carry much larger bonuses than standard tiers — 50+6, 100+16, 300+52, 500+94, 1,000+210, 2,000+486, 5,000+1,380 — and because they come from a purchase, they're permanent too. Free-to-play players were still clearing 11,000–13,820 Gold by the late-April 2026 season end, and most of it evaporated when the season flipped.
Active codes BSREWARD10K, BLOODSTRIKEFB, TYSTRIKERS, and 5MSTRIKERS redeem through the Event tab's speaker icon and land as mail attachments. They're case-sensitive, usually one use per account, and sometimes region-locked.
Reading the top-up screen
The 500 + 40 tier is the smallest pack that covers the Elite Strike Pass in a single purchase, with a little spare. The 1,000 + 100 tier covers two Elite passes with 60 Gold left over. Grab a small tier only when you need a specific short top-up.
Gold pack tiers

Standard tiers at official App Store pricing:
| Base + bonus | Total Golds | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 100 + 5 | 105 | $0.99 |
| 300 + 20 | 320 | $2.99 |
| 500 + 40 | 540 | $4.99 |
| 1,000 + 100 | 1,100 | $9.99 |
| 2,000 + 260 | 2,260 | $19.99 |
| 5,000 + 800 | 5,800 | $49.99 |
The 5,000 + 800 tier is the cheapest per Gold in that list, and the 2,000 tier is the first to clear the 15% bonus mark.
Regional pricing and payments
Prices, promotions, and code eligibility shift by region and server, so the live checkout total is what you'll pay — cached screenshots routinely show another region's offer. Top-ups are prepaid single transactions with no auto-renewal. Payment methods follow the platform: store balance, cards, and whatever your region supports. Authorized resellers that bypass the 30% Apple/Google/Steam platform fee typically price 20–25% under the App Store, worth comparing before you pay.
The top-up walkthrough

Wrong UID is the number one cause of failed top-ups and it can't be reversed, so copy it before you open the store. Tap your Avatar in the upper-left corner, or go to Settings > Account, and take the Player ID from there. If you'd rather scan the pack tiers first, buffget's blood strike gold recharge online listing shows the current options with competitive pricing and secure transactions.
- Open the Top-up Center — the in-game Mall / Gold purchase section, or the official NetEase portal at pay.neteasegames.com.
- Copy your UID via Avatar (upper-left) or Settings > Account.
- Select the Gold pack and paste the UID into the field.
- Verify the server and region match the account you're buying for.
- Pay and wait for the credit — most deliveries land in 1–2 minutes.
On the mobile client
Same flow on iOS and Android: Top-up Center, pick the pack, paste the UID, confirm the server, pay through the store's own payment sheet. Check your linked account first — NetEase, Apple ID, Google Play, or Facebook — because Gold lands on the account the UID belongs to, not the one you happen to be logged into. Don't re-buy the same pack while the first order is still resolving; that's how duplicate charges happen.
On the PC client
The Windows client (NetEase launcher and Steam) uses the same UID and the same wallet. One workaround worth knowing: Strike Pass purchases sometimes fail on Steam, so buy the pass amount in-game first and then purchase the pass with your Gold balance.
When Golds don't show up
Restart the client to force a balance refresh, then check in-game mail — some deliveries arrive as attachments rather than straight into the wallet. If the balance is still short after payment sync, contact support with the Transaction ID, payment receipt, and UID. Peak traffic can stretch delivery to 24 hours, so don't file twice. Contact support within 48 hours of the purchase; after that, tracing the transaction gets harder.
Elite Pass refunds

The Elite Strike Pass costs 520 Gold per 50-tier season and pays the whole amount back as Timed Gold by Tier 50 — net zero if you finish it. The Premium Strike Pass (Elite Pass Plus) costs 1,040 Gold, includes every Elite reward, unlocks up to Tier 20 instantly, and adds Ultra-tier weapon skins for the M700, SPEAR, PKM, and shotguns.
The return isn't a cash refund on the pass; it's the tier payout. Tiers 1–10 give 80–100 Timed Gold, 11–20 give 120–150, 21–30 give 150–180, 31–40 give 120–140, and 41–50 give 50–70. Stop at Tier 30 and you've recovered 390 — 75% of the cost — and the rest disappears with the season.
Reward quality follows the same curve: tiers 1–14 are common items, 15–29 rare items and consumables, 30–44 epic weapon skins, 45–49 exclusive legendary skins, and Tier 50 is the refund. Recent Elite routes have been worth the grind — Blight Horizon included Ultra EMMA - Crimson Curse and Bizon Blood Vengeance, and Bunny Force unlocked Ultra Striker skin E.M.T. - Neon Bunny.
When a purchase refund is possible
A purchase refund is a separate, narrower thing. Platform-caused errors qualify: duplicate charges, the wrong item delivered, unauthorized payment. What doesn't qualify is a top-up made with wrong information you supplied, such as a mistyped UID, or a pass whose rewards you've already claimed and consumed. Digital content that's been used generally isn't refundable.
Two hard rules. Refunds deduct the equivalent Gold and can push the balance below zero, and a negative balance disables match participation until you're positive again. NetEase's policy dated 2025-12-18 permanently bans accounts that file more than three refunds in a calendar year. Chargebacks carry the same exposure.
Filing the request
- Open in-game customer support.
- Choose the Purchase/Refund category.
- Attach the order ID (Transaction ID), the payment receipt or screenshot, and your Player ID.
- Submit, and keep the order reference until the case closes.
Screenshots help more than descriptions; support resolves purchase cases faster when the receipt and UID are in the first message. Outcomes also vary by country — regional consumer law gives some players stronger rights than the global policy, so an identical request can be accepted in one region and refused in another. Anything the in-game form can't settle goes to bloodstrike@global.netease.com.
Where players lose Golds
Expired mail attachments
On the last day of the season, every unclaimed Strike Pass reward and every mailbox attachment is deleted — not converted, not returned, deleted. Event milestones pay 50–200 Gold per cycle, and if it's still sitting in your inbox when the season flips, it's gone. It's the most common way players lose earned Gold, and it's avoidable by claiming before the deadline.
Wrong region or wrong account
Golds are bound to the account and its server region and can't be transferred. Buying through an Apple ID that isn't yours, or through an unauthorized third-party channel, triggers Gold and item removal, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban under the same December 2025 policy. Legitimate services ask for your User ID only — never a password, OTP, or recovery code. Turn on two-factor authentication.
Spending Golds before anything lapses
Buy the Elite Strike Pass first — it returns its full cost at Tier 50, and nothing else in the store does that. A premium Striker runs about 800 Gold, Limited Stash crates cost 90–150 Gold a pull with no guarantee, and a top weapon finish runs 6,000–7,500 Gold. The pass is the higher-ROI buy by a wide margin.
Give yourself room to finish it: a 42-day season needs 1.2 tiers a day, 2 tiers a day finishes on day 25, and the best window to buy is day 10–20. Crates and Lucky Spin rolls are the classic sink. Combat missions want 20+ eliminations and survival missions want 15 minutes survived or five top-3 finishes, and the whole pass takes roughly 90–120 minutes a day. If you can't commit that pace, don't buy the pass in the final week and expect the payout back. Rename services and direct Striker unlocks are fine if you actually want them — the point is to skip the random pulls.
Questions players keep asking
Do Blood Strike Golds expire after top up?
No. Anything purchased — base Gold and the bonus Gold printed on the pack — is permanent and stays in your wallet indefinitely. The only currency with an expiry is Timed Gold earned free from events, missions, mail, and pass tiers, which clears out when the season closes.
What is the difference between permanent and timed Golds?
Permanent Gold comes from real-money purchases and never lapses. Timed Gold is free currency handed out through events, missions, login rewards, and promotional mail, wiped at season end. The store shows one combined total, but checkout spends the Timed balance first.
Where can I see the expiry date of my Golds?
Settings > Account > Currency Details. Timed Gold is listed separately with a clock icon and countdown beside it. The Strike Pass tab also carries a seasonal panel showing how much time is left in the current season.
Can I get a refund for the Elite Pass?
The pass doesn't return Gold you can keep — the return is the tier payout, delivered as Timed Gold that expires with the season. A cash refund on the purchase is only considered for platform errors, duplicate charges, or unauthorized payments, and it's subject to verification.
Why haven't my Golds arrived after topping up?
Restart the client first; some deliveries need a manual balance refresh, and a few arrive as in-game mail attachments instead of landing in the wallet. If it's still missing after payment sync, file a support ticket with your Transaction ID, receipt, and UID.
Can I transfer Golds to another Blood Strike account?
No. Gold is bound to the account and its server region, with no transfer, gifting, or migration mechanism. Buying for a friend means buying against their UID — which is why you should copy the Player ID yourself rather than trusting a typed message.
