Poppo Live Gift Math 2026: How Much of a Viewer's $1 Reaches the Host, by Recharge Channel
Short answer: it depends on where the coins were bought. Using the agency-site rules (70% of a gift becomes host points, 10,000 points = $1), $1 spent in the App Store leaves the host about 49¢. A Poppo Live coins top-up at 252,000 coins for $27.43 leaves about 64¢.
Same gift. Same host. Same 70% rule. The only thing that changed is the shop the viewer used.
I've watched a lot of friends argue about "how much the host really gets" in Poppo rooms. Nobody brings a calculator. So this page does the math once, shows every input with a date, and flags every number that isn't officially confirmed.
What this page covers (and what nobody else lays out)
Most Poppo Live pages on Google's first page either list coin prices or list host salary rules. They rarely join the two together, and none of the top results I checked mention the App Store's same-price "shrunk" packs.
Here's what you'll get:
- Host cents per viewer $1, by channel, with an optional agent overlay.
- What viewers must spend for a host to reach their first $10 withdrawal.
- The App Store trap: four extra packs at the same price that give you 7–21% fewer coins.
- Real gift-panel prices from a dated screen (Rose = 1,000 coins, not 200).
- A reconciliation table of numbers that different sites contradict.
- A FAQ for the questions players keep asking in YouTube comments that nobody answers well.
Quick SERP check (2026-10-28)
I re-ran the search before publishing. Here's what ranks for "Poppo Live coins price recharge":
| # | Page | Title type | Date shown | What it misses |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | buffget.com (Hindi) UID cost per 1,000 coins vs iOS | Declarative | 2026 | No host/agent split |
| 2 | bittopup.com coins October 2026 | Declarative | 2026-10-22 | No agent overlay, no per-SKU shrink figures, no gift-panel proof |
| 3 | bittopup.com product page | Declarative | Not shown | Price list only |
| 4 | price.bittopup.com price list | Declarative | 2026-07-08 | Competitor prices are "indicative estimates" |
| 5 | vgtopup.com product page | Declarative | Not shown | Price list only |
Question titles in the top 5: 0. So this article uses a declarative title.
The three numbers you have to keep apart
This is where most confusion comes from. There are three separate rates, and people mash them into one sentence.
| Layer | Working figure | Source and status |
|---|---|---|
| Coins per $1 (viewer side) | ~7,007 (App Store) to ~9,187 (Buffget) | Store pages, checked 2026-10-28 ✅ |
| Gift → host points | 70% of the gift's coin value | poppolive.net host page, an agency/fan site. Agency-site claim, not officially confirmed. |
| Points → cash | 10,000 points = $1, $10 minimum | poppolive.net, poppolive.co, poppo.asia (agency sites, checked 2026-10-28) |
The first row comes straight from store price lists. The 70% and 10,000-point figures come from agency and recruiting sites, and all of them agree. Poppo's own Live Agreement (linked from the poppolive.com Safety Hub, section 4) confirms the basic mechanism: users "may only withdraw points earned through receiving gifts, tips from others, or participation in platform activities."
So read every "host cents" figure below as illustrative math built on the agency-site rates.
Viewer $1 → host / agent / everything else
ORIGINAL GRAPHIC Stacked bars: cents of each viewer $1 that go to the host, to an S-level agent (if paid on top), and to everything else, by channel. Source: App Store US, Buffget, Joytify prices (checked 2026-10-28); official web tiers relayed by BitTopup (2026-10-22); 70% / 10,000 pts / 4–20% from poppolive.net. Chart by buffget.com.

The formula is simple:
host ¢ per $1 = coins per $1 × 0.7 ÷ 10,000 × 100
| Channel (pack used) | Coins per $1 | Host ¢ per $1 | D-level agent ¢ (4%) | S-level agent ¢ (20%) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| App Store 70,000 / $9.99 | 7,007 | 49.0 | 2.0 | 9.8 |
| Official web* 83,000 / $10 | 8,300 | 58.1 | 2.3 | 11.6 |
| Official web* 870,000 / $100 | 8,700 | 60.9 | 2.4 | 12.2 |
| Joytify 252,000 / $27.81 | 9,061 | 63.4 | 2.5 | 12.7 |
| Buffget 70,000 / $7.83 | 8,940 | 62.6 | 2.5 | 12.5 |
| Buffget 252,000 / $27.43 | 9,187 | 64.3 | 2.6 | 12.9 |
*Official web tiers (poppolive.com → Get Coins): 83,000 coins for $10 and 870,000 for $100, as reported by BitTopup (2026-10-22) and news.bittopup.com (2025-12-09). TopUpLive's coins guide also quotes 83,000 coins for $10 on the official website.
What jumps out:
- The spread from worst to best channel is about 15¢ per dollar. That's about 31% more for the host from the same budget (64.3 ÷ 49.0).
- The official web page beats the App Store by about 9–12¢ because of its bonus coins.
- The agent column is shown as an overlay on top of the host's share, following poppolive.net's formula (commission = host earnings × rate).
Where does the "everything else" go?
It covers the app store's fee, Poppo's own share, and any reseller margin. Poppo doesn't publish that split, so I keep it as one bucket.
What it costs viewers to get a host to a milestone
This is the question hosts actually ask me: "How much do my viewers need to send before I can cash out?"
ORIGINAL GRAPHIC Bar chart: viewer spend needed for a host's first $10 withdrawal (100,000 points) and for the ~150,000-point Tier 2 hourly-salary trigger, by channel. Source: same price inputs as above; Tier 2 threshold from poppolive.net host page. Chart by buffget.com.

| Milestone | Coins gifted (at 70%) | App Store | Official web* $10 tier | Joytify | Buffget 252k pack |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Host earns $1 | 14,286 | $2.04 | $1.72 | $1.58 | $1.55 |
| First $10 withdrawal (100,000 pts) | 142,857 | $20.39 | $17.21 | $15.77 | $15.55 |
| Tier 2 trigger (~150,000 pts in 7 days) | 214,286 | $30.58 | $25.82 | $23.65 | $23.32 |
Two notes:
- The Tier 2 figure comes from poppolive.net: "Tier 2 (3,000/h) requires about 150,000 points of gifts over the last 7 days (around $15)." I read it as host points. If it means gift coin value, the coin count drops to 150,000 and the dollar figures shrink by 30%.
- The $10 minimum is consistent across every agency site I checked. Withdrawals are in multiples of $10, and the rest stays in the wallet (poppolive.co, poppo.asia).
For a step-by-step guide to the cash-out side, Buffget has a separate Poppo Live withdrawal guide covering GCash and USDT. Read it with the same caution: fee and limit figures there are agency claims too.
The App Store trap: same price, fewer coins
Here's the part I haven't seen on any page in the top 10.
The US App Store listing for Poppo Live (id1544908797) shows ten in-app purchases. Four of them cost exactly the same as a standard pack but give you fewer coins. I rechecked the list on 2026-10-28 and it hasn't changed since 2026-10-27.
ORIGINAL GRAPHIC Bar chart of coins per $1 for all ten App Store in-app packs. Green = the standard 7,000-per-dollar ladder; amber and red = same-price packs with fewer coins. Source: apps.apple.com/us/app/id1544908797, In-App Purchases list, checked 2026-10-28. Chart by buffget.com.

| Coins | Price | Coins per $1 | vs. the standard pack at that price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2,100 | $0.29 | 7,241 | Best rate on the list |
| 7,000 | $0.99 | 7,071 | Standard |
| 6,500 | $0.99 | 6,566 | −7.14% |
| 21,000 | $2.99 | 7,023 | Standard |
| 19,500 | $2.99 | 6,522 | −7.14% |
| 70,000 | $9.99 | 7,007 | Standard |
| 65,000 | $9.99 | 6,507 | −7.14% |
| 210,000 | $29.99 | 7,002 | Standard |
| 195,000 | $29.99 | 6,502 | −7.14% |
| 165,000 | $29.99 | 5,502 | −21.43% |
Why do these packs exist? Apple's listing doesn't label them, so I won't guess. The practical point is the same either way: at $0.99, $2.99, $9.99 and $29.99 there are two different coin amounts.
What I can tell you:
- Apple shows only the top 10 in-app purchases on the store page, so there may be more packs you can't see.
- On the standard ladder, bigger packs give slightly fewer coins per dollar, not more. 2,100/$0.29 gives 7,241 per $1; 210,000/$29.99 gives 7,002. That's −3.30%.
- If you buy in-app, check the coin number on the button, not just the price.
What the in-app screen actually shows
GIF The Android "Top-up coins" screen with Google Pay packs: 7,000/$0.99, 21,000/$2.99, 70,000/$9.99, 210,000/$29.99, 350,000/$49.99, 700,000/$99.99. Source: "How to Send Gifts On Poppo Live", Zik the Programming Guy, YouTube, uploaded 2024-09-13, clip 0:46–0:55. These are 2024 Google Play prices, not today's.

That 2024 Android screen shows the same 7,000-per-$0.99 ladder, with 350,000/$49.99 and 700,000/$99.99 on top, and no shrunk packs. Google Play's public listing only shows a per-item price range, so the in-app screen is the place to check.
Gift panel: Rose costs 1,000 coins on screen, not 200
Several guides (including older Buffget and BitTopup posts) say "a Rose = 200 coins → 140 points". The dated screen below shows a different number.
Here's the gift panel recorded on 2024-09-13:
IMAGE Poppo Live gift panel with coin prices: Beer 500, Cola 500, Love 1,000, Rose 1,000, Kiss 3,000, Gold Medal 55,000, Virgo 188,000. Source: frame at 1:20 of "How to Send Gifts On Poppo Live", Zik the Programming Guy, YouTube, uploaded 2024-09-13.

Here's what each of those gifts means in money, using the same rules as above:
| Gift (2024-09-13 panel) | Coins | Host points (70%) | Host $ | Viewer $ via App Store | Viewer $ via Buffget 252k pack |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beer / Cola | 500 | 350 | $0.035 | $0.071 | $0.054 |
| Love / Rose | 1,000 | 700 | $0.07 | $0.143 | $0.109 |
| Kiss | 3,000 | 2,100 | $0.21 | $0.428 | $0.327 |
| Gold Medal | 55,000 | 38,500 | $3.85 | $7.85 | $5.99 |
| Virgo | 188,000 | 131,600 | $13.16 | $26.83 | $20.46 |
Gift prices can differ by region and change over time. Before you quote a gift's value, open your own gift panel and read the number under the icon.

Points can go back into coins
One detail from the same recording: the coins history shows a "Convert to Coin" entry (423 coins on 2024-09-12). So points can be turned into coins inside the app. The poppolive.net agency page says the same for agents ("exchange your points for coins").

Special gifts are getting flashier

Reconciliation: numbers different sites disagree on
This is the table I wish someone had made before me. Each row is a claim you'll see repeated, who says it, and what I could actually check.
| Claim | Who says it | What checks out | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rose = 200 coins | Older Buffget and BitTopup guides | 2024-09-13 panel shows Rose = 1,000 | ❌ Contradicted by the dated panel |
| "10,000 coins ≈ $1" | Several reseller pages | App Store: 7,000 coins = $0.99, so 10,000 coins ≈ $1.41 in-app | ⚠️ Only true for some third-party prices |
| 9,460 coins per $1 for "Level 5" accounts | Buffget top-up guide, BitTopup news | App Store tops out at 7,241/$; official web at 9,100/$ ($1,000 tier) | ⚠️ Higher than any first-party price listed |
| Agency commission comes from the platform's share, not the host's 70% | Buffget agency guide | poppolive.net: "commission = host earnings × rate" | ⚠️ Formula agrees; wording differs |
| Agency gets 30–50% on call/chat | Buffget host-salary and agency guides | poppo.asia and poppolive.net: same 4–20% for call/chat as live | ⚠️ Sites conflict |
| "$1,000 recharge → host ~$750, agent ~$150" | poppolive.net agency page | 9.5M coins × 70% = 6.65M points = $665; 20% of that = $133 | ❌ Their own example doesn't add up |
| Payout time | "24 hours" (poppolive.net), "72 hours" (poppoapp.com), "up to 7 business days" (poppolive.co, poppo.asia) | Sites disagree | ⚠️ Plan for the slow one |
| $10 minimum withdrawal, multiples of $10 | All agency sites | Consistent everywhere | ✅ Consistent across sites |
| Fan club join or relight = 100 coins | poppolive.com copy | First-party page | ✅ Official. That's ≈$0.014 at the App Store's 7,071/$ |
Fan club extra: poppolive.com also says renaming a fan club costs 10,000 coins. That's about $1.41 at the App Store's standard rate.
One more caution: I used poppolive.net's 70% and Tier 2 numbers because they match other agency sites. The official domain listed on the App Store page is poppolive.com; poppolive.net is a separate site.
Agency side: what the commission looks like
The commission tiers listed on poppolive.net and poppo.asia (agency-site claim):
| Level | Agency points, last 30 days | Commission |
|---|---|---|
| D | 0–2 million | 4% |
| C | 2–10 million | 8% |
| B | 10–50 million | 12% |
| A | 50–150 million | 16% |
| S | 150 million+ | 20% |
Applied to one viewer dollar from the App Store (host gets 49.0¢):
- D-level agent: about 2.0¢
- S-level agent: about 9.8¢
The same dollar from the Buffget 252k pack (host 64.3¢): D about 2.6¢, S about 12.9¢.
If you want the full salary-tier picture, Buffget has a host salary and exchange-rate guide. Some numbers there conflict with poppo.asia, as shown in the table above.
How to recompute this yourself (takes 2 minutes)
Prices move. Here's how to redo every number on this page:
- Pick a channel and a pack. Write down coins and price.
- Coins per $1 = coins ÷ price.
- Host cents per $1 = coins per $1 × 0.7 ÷ 10,000 × 100.
- Agent cents (optional) = host cents × your agent's rate (0.04 to 0.20).
- Viewer cost for a host's $10 = 142,857 ÷ coins per $1.
- A gift's value to the host = gift coins × 0.7 ÷ 10,000.
Example with the Buffget 83,000-coin pack at $9.04: 83,000 ÷ 9.04 = 9,181 coins per $1 → 9,181 × 0.7 ÷ 10,000 = 64.3¢ to the host.
Current prices used (checked 2026-10-28)
| Channel | Pack | Price | Coins per $1 |
|---|---|---|---|
| App Store US | 70,000 | $9.99 | 7,007 |
| App Store US | 210,000 | $29.99 | 7,002 |
| Buffget (poppo-live page) | 83,000 | $9.04 | 9,181 |
| Buffget (poppo-live page) | 252,000 | $27.43 | 9,187 |
| Buffget (poppo-live page) | 870,000 | $94.72 | 9,185 |
| Buffget (coins page) | 70,000 | $7.83 | 8,940 |
| Buffget (coins page) | 210,000 | $23.48 | 8,944 |
| Joytify | 252,000 | $27.81 | 9,061 |
| Joytify | 870,000 | $96.00 | 9,063 |
| Official web* | 83,000 | $10 | 8,300 |
| Official web* | 870,000 | $100 | 8,700 |
Matching the App Store's own packs, Buffget's same-size coin packs cost 21.2–21.7% less: 7,000 for $0.78, 21,000 for $2.35, 70,000 for $7.83, 210,000 for $23.48.
What's new in the app (official)
From the App Store version history (checked 2026-10-28):
| Version | Date | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 3.2.3 | 2026-10-19 | AI assistant for live hosts with reminders during broadcasts; iOS 27 compatibility |
| 3.2.2 | 2026-09-22 | iOS 27 compatibility, glass effect on iOS 26, better search recommendations |
| 3.2.1 | 2026-08-31 | Custom beauty presets; video sending in private chats |
| 3.2.0 | 2026-08-12 | Speech-to-text in live rooms; Dynamic Island support |
The big one for hosts is 3.2.3's AI assistant, which gives reminders about important information during a broadcast. None of these release notes change coin prices, gift share or withdrawal rules.
The App Store also lists four Halloween events right now: "Your Halloween Spotlight", "Gifts That Light Up Halloween", "Halloween: Your Seven-Day Run" and "Golden Coconut Hunt". The event cards describe Lucky tasks, Gift Gallery challenges with a permanent medal, a seven-day leaderboard run and a coconut hunt for Lucky gifts.
FAQ: the questions players keep asking
These come up again and again in YouTube comments and app reviews. I only answer with what I could verify.
My agency won't let me leave, or wants coins to release me. What do I do?
This is the most common complaint. A 2024 Filipino YouTube tutorial on quitting an agency (DJMA, uploaded 2024-04-29) has about 44,868 views, and its comments are full of people saying their agent refused or asked for 20k to 1M coins.
What poppolive.net says (agency-site claim):
- Send the request from My agent › I want to quit the agency.
- If the agent doesn't respond within 7 days, you leave automatically.
- You can send one request every 30 days. After a refusal, the agent can still approve within 14 days.
- Hosts without face authentication, or who joined less than a day ago, can leave right away.
My advice: screenshot your request with the date. Don't pay anyone off-platform to "release" you. Poppo's Live Agreement (section 4) strictly prohibits cash rebates, so off-platform payments give you no protection.
My account was permanently banned. Can I appeal?
Yes. This one is official. Poppo's Community Guidelines on poppo.com say you can appeal a ban:
- Use the appeal option in the app or website, or
- Email contact@hippo-connect.net, saying what the decision was and why your content didn't break the rules.
- Appeals are "reviewed and resolved within 14 (fourteen) days."
Ban explainer videos get huge views. One Filipino video (2Tjl11frBb0, 2024-07-23) has about 43,432. The official appeal route above is the one to use.
How long does a withdrawal take?
The sites give different answers:
- "Within 24 hours" (poppolive.net)
- "Typically within 72 hours" (poppoapp.com, 2026-03-08)
- "Up to 7 business days" (poppolive.co, poppo.asia)
Plan for 7 business days. If it takes longer, contact support in the app (Me › Help) or email official@poppolive.com, the address listed on the App Store page.
I entered the wrong GCash or USDT details. Can I fix it?
poppoapp.com (an agency site, 2026-03-08) says you can unlink or change a payment account from your profile at any time. If a payout already went to the wrong account, contact support right away with your withdrawal record.
Why did a 100,000-coin gift show up as 70,000 points?
That's the 70% split the agency sites describe. 100,000 coins × 0.7 = 70,000 points = $7. It's not a glitch.
Do male hosts get the hourly salary?
A 2026-02-21 App Store review says male hosts must reach gifting level 5 to stream and aren't paid for streaming alone. poppolive.net describes a separate "Rocket Host" program for male hosts (up to $40 a week). If you're a male host, ask your agent which program you qualify for before you plan around an hourly salary.
Are third-party top-ups allowed?
Poppo's withdraw page says "Only authorized Coinsellers can recharge coin" (quoted by BitTopup, 2026-10-22). TopUpLive says it has been an "official authorized recharge partner of Poppo Live since 2023" (topuplive.com, checked 2026-10-28), and Buffget's product page calls itself an official partner. Whatever you use, recharge only to your own User ID, keep the receipt, and never trade coins for points with strangers.
Bottom line
- The host's share of your dollar mostly depends on where you bought the coins. Based on agency-site rules, it's about 49¢ in the App Store and about 58–64¢ elsewhere.
- In the App Store, check the coin count. Four packs give 7–21% fewer coins at the same price.
- Rose = 1,000 coins on the only dated panel I found.
- The 70% split and the 10,000-points-per-$1 rate come from agency sites and agree across them. Payout times vary by site, so plan for up to 7 business days.
- For bans, the official appeal route is in the app or at contact@hippo-connect.net, with a 14-day review window.
