Wuthering Waves Cost Per Pull: $0.27 Lunite vs Top Ups
Wuthering Waves cost per pull: the Lunite Subscription lands at $0.27 per pull vs $2.42 on the best Astrite top up tier. Here's the pity math.
Which route costs less per pull
The Lunite Subscription gives you a pull for about $0.27. Direct Astrite top up runs $2.42 per pull at its best tier ($29.99) and up to $2.64 at the smallest — roughly nine times the price. If you spend anything at all, the subscription is the default. Packs earn their place in two specific situations, and more pulls per dollar isn't one of them.
Three currencies run the system:
- Astrite — the premium currency every Convene accepts. It never expires; leftover Astrite works on the next banner.
- Lunite — what money buys, converting to Astrite at a fixed 1:1 rate.
- Tides — Radiant Tide for the limited Character Event banner, Lustrous Tide for Standard and Novice banners, Forging Tide for the limited Weapon Event banner. They don't mix.
One pull costs 160 Astrite or 1 Tide. Since the conversion is 1:1, where you buy doesn't change the math — weigh checkout speed and support instead. A Wuthering Waves Astrite top up through buffget lands Lunite in your account with competitive pricing, secure transactions and fast delivery, useful when a banner is half over and you need pulls tonight.
The per-pull numbers
One month of Lunite Subscription costs $4.99: 300 Lunite lands instantly, plus 90 Astrite per day for 30 days. The daily claims total 2,700 Astrite, and with the 300 Lunite up front you hold 3,000 currency — 18.75 pulls at 160 each. That's where the $0.27 figure comes from.
Most guides quote the biggest $99.99 pack (6,480 Lunite) as the headline rate, but per-tier data bottoms out at $2.42 on the $29.99 tier. Either way it's a 9x gap against the subscription.
When top-up packs still make sense
Two cases:
- You need 10+ pulls before a banner ends at tomorrow's reset — subscription income drips 90 Astrite a day and can't hand you a lump sum.
- The First-Time Top-Up Bonus is untouched. It doubles the Lunite once per price tier per account, dropping a single buy to $1.21–$1.32 per pull, best at the $29.99 tier ($1.21). There's no reset as of Version 1.2, so treat it as a one-time discount.
How the subscription pays out
300 Lunite now, 90 Astrite later

Buy it twice and each purchase pays its 300 Lunite up front while the daily claim timer simply extends — subscriptions stack up to 180 days. There's no auto-renew: repurchase manually from Store > Bundles, and the 30 days run from the moment of purchase, independent of patch timing. Buying mid-version is completely fine.
Missed daily claims
The daily 90 Astrite resets at 4:00 AM server time and only arrives if you log in and claim it. Skip a day and it's gone — no make-up claim, no backlog. Fold it into your Daily Activities run and you'll stop thinking about it.
Pack prices without the first-buy bonus
The smallest pack is $0.99 for 60 Lunite: a single pull costs $2.64, and the ladder barely improves from there.
| Price | Lunite (1:1 Astrite) | Cost per pull | First-Time bonus total |
|---|---|---|---|
| $0.99 | 60 | $2.64 | 120 |
| $4.99 | 300 | $2.66 | 600 |
| $14.99 | 980 | $2.45 | 1,960 |
| $29.99 | 1,980 | $2.42 | 3,960 |
| $49.99 | 3,280 | $2.44 | 6,560 |
| $99.99 | 6,480 | $2.47 | 12,960 |
Why small packs are the worst deal
The $0.99 and $4.99 packs sit at the expensive end of the per-pull column. Spend $4.99 as a pack and you get 300 Lunite — under two pulls. Spend it as a subscription and you get 18.75 pulls over the month. Same money, ten times the pulls.
If you'd rather not juggle two products, buffget handles a Wuthering Waves Lunite Subscription purchase and direct packs side by side, with secure checkout and responsive support if an order looks stuck.
Converting currency into Tides

Convert only when you're ready to pull.
- Open the Convene screen and read the banner's detail/history tab — that's where your current pity count lives.
- Divide your Astrite by 160 and add any Tides of the matching type. That's your real pull count.
- Convert Astrite into the Tide type the banner actually takes, then Convene.
Two traps: turning savings into Lustrous Tides leaves you holding Standard banner tickets you never wanted. And Waveplate refreshes or revives quietly burn pulls — 60 Astrite covers one or two recharges, 120 covers three or more.
Pity rates and 5-star costs

The base 5-star rate is 0.8% per pull — about 1.8% consolidated once pity is counted — and 4-stars sit at 6%. Hard pity guarantees a 5-star at pull 80 on every banner, with the counter resetting to 0 the moment one drops. Soft pity starts around pull 65–66 and odds climb sharply, so most 5-stars land between 65 and 75 instead of at 80. A 4-star or better is guaranteed at least once every 10 pulls, and a 10-pull carries no odds bonus over ten singles.
50/50 losses and the guarantee
On the Character Event banner the first 5-star is a coin flip: 50% featured Resonator, 50% standard pool. Lose it and the next 5-star is guaranteed featured — you can't lose twice in a row. Both the pity count and that guarantee carry into the next banner of the same type, so a top-up made hours before a banner ends still counts. Character, weapon and standard banners track separately, and pity never expires.
Budgeting rule: if you lost the last 50/50, plan 80 pulls (12,800 Astrite), not 160 (25,600). The average featured Resonator lands at 65–70 pulls, or 10,400–11,200 Astrite.
Weapon and beginner banners
Forging Tide banners keep the 0.8% base rate and 80-pull hard pity but guarantee the featured weapon outright — no 50/50 — so the ceiling is 80 pulls instead of the 160 a character banner can demand. Novice Convene (Utterance of Marvels) sells 10 pulls for 8 Lustrous Tides and guarantees a standard 5-star within 50 before closing for good. Beginner's Choice Convene lets a new account pick a standard 5-star — Calcharo, Encore, Jianxin, Lingyang or Verina — at 80-pull pity.
Free Astrite between banners
Daily Activities pay 60 Astrite at 100 Activity Points: 420 a week, about 1,800 a month before anything else. A full patch clears 10,000+ once Tower of Adversity and Whimpering Wastes cycle resets, events, exploration, quests, maintenance mail and Union Level rewards are counted. One-time sources stack early:
- Quests: 20–100 each
- Data Bank levels: 40–80
- Supply Chests: 5–50
- Resonance Beacons: 5 each
- Resonance Nexus: 30
- Pioneer Association levels: 50 each (ten levels)
The Pioneer Podcast paid track costs $9.99 and returns 680 Astrite plus Radiant and Forging Tides, 4-star weapons and upgrade materials.
A spending plan
Free-to-play: skip the store entirely and bank for limited banners — the Standard banner draws on the same Astrite pool and keeps its own pity. Around $5 a month buys the subscription and nothing else, which is the floor and genuinely enough. Around $30 covers the subscription plus the Pioneer Podcast, with whatever's left saved for an unused First-Time bonus tier. Once you're near $50–100 a month, those doubled tiers are the next sensible buy.
| Route and target | Pulls | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Lunite Subscription → featured weapon at hard pity | 80 | 4.3 months (~$21) |
| Lunite Subscription → featured Resonator at hard pity | 80 | 4.3 months (~$21) |
| Lunite Subscription → featured Resonator after a lost 50/50 | 160 | 8.5 months (~$43) |
| Direct top-up → 80-pull guarantee | 80 | 2 × $99.99 packs (~$200) |
| Direct top-up → 160-pull guarantee | 160 | ~$396 in packs |
Topping up safely
Match your UID to your server — America, Europe, Asia, SEA or HMT — before any top-up order; the Astrite economy is identical across regions. Use official or trusted payment channels, never share your account login, and keep the receipt or order ID.
Red flags: a price far below every listed tier, a seller asking for your password, or a deal that wants remote access to your device. If currency hasn't arrived within 5–60 minutes, contact Kuro Games support with your order ID. Astrite and Lunite are account-bound — no gifting, no transfers, and nothing converts back to real money. Banner schedules and event news live on the official Wuthering Waves site.
Questions players actually ask
Is the Lunite Subscription better than topping up Astrite?
On rate, yes, and it isn't close. Direct packs only win when you need a lump sum within the hour or you've still got an unused First-Time bonus on a tier. For steady monthly spending, buy the subscription and stop. If your pulls can wait a day, it's the better buy.
How many pulls does the Lunite Subscription give per month?
Just under nineteen pulls' worth of currency. It's paid as Astrite and Lunite rather than tickets, so your actual Convene count depends on claiming daily and on how much free Astrite you bank alongside it. Miss a daily claim and that day's share is gone.
How much does one pull cost in Wuthering Waves?
In currency it's always 160 Astrite or one Tide, but in dollars it swings with your route — the subscription rate and the pack ladder differ by roughly a factor of nine. Small packs are the worst of both worlds and should be skipped entirely.
Does pity carry over between banners?
Yes. The counter and any lost-50/50 guarantee both move to the next banner of the same type, with no expiry — only the history log stops showing very old pulls after six to twelve months. Different banner types count independently, so track each one.
What happens if I miss a day of the Lunite Subscription?
That day's Astrite is forfeited; the claim is tied to a daily reset and needs a login. Nothing else breaks — remaining days keep running and future purchases still stack within the overall cap. One missed day is a rounding error. A missed week is real money gone.
Should I spend Astrite on Radiant Tides or save them?
Save and convert at the moment you pull. Converting early into the wrong Tide type strands currency on a banner you didn't plan to touch. Radiant Tides carry the 50/50 — and if you lost that flip before, the banked guarantee is worth planning around.
