Every phase is date-gated, and the dates don't all align. That's the biggest planning error players make.

1. August 1–31 — Login highlight, opening animation, DAN DA DAN Redemption Shop, Lam/Lan Okarun in Wish/Collection, weekly activity missions awarding a limited Collaboration Title and specialized Arcs.

Navigation is consistent across regions: main lobby → Events banner carousel → DAN DA DAN collab hub → sub-tabs for Wish/Collection, Redemption Shop, Reiryoku Awakening, Spriteling Costume Event. Your token wallet shows at the top of each shop tab.

The Investigation Event ends August 15 while Awakening starts August 7 — so days 7–15 are your highest-density earning window. Daily and weekly missions reset; expired phases don't reopen.

Tokens come from activity, not one quest line. Staying active August 14–31 generates the lucky-draw tokens feeding the Golden Egg pool.

Wish Mechanics: Cost, Guarantees, Duplicate Conversion

Two acquisition systems run here, and confusing them wastes money.

• Wish/Collection gacha (premium) — Lam/Lan Okarun from August 1, Mozi Jiji from August 7, both from a shared collab pool. Zhang Fei–Kinta (Epic) and Dun–Mantisian (Legendary) remain rumored, not confirmed.
• Token exchange (deterministic) — Reiryoku Awakening (August 7–31) opens fixed-price exchanges for avatar frames, chat bubbles, and an exclusive Dandadan Minion Skin.

Honor of Kings collab wishes historically use a draw counter that guarantees the headline item at a threshold. So your real budget is the guarantee count, not the average. Read the counter on the wish interface before your first pull — it's the only trustworthy figure.

Duplicate handling is your hidden discount. Turbo Granny Minions redeem for 1 Honor Crystal each, so overflow keeps conversion value instead of being dead weight. Check each pool item's conversion rate before drawing and count it against your effective cost per target.

Wish Budget for Okarun and Jiji

Four steps, using numbers read from your client:

1. List targets. Legendary Lam/Lan Okarun (dark red shadow effects, demonic masked ultimate) and Epic Mozi Jiji (violet shadow beams, cursed containment barrier ultimate). Skip Daji Momo Ayase — free.
2. Record printed cost per single wish, per multi-wish, plus the guarantee counter maximum.
3. Subtract free income. Start with the 200 Dragon Crystals from the August 1–3 login, then project daily and weekly mission yields across remaining days.
4. Convert the gap into a top-up amount, rounding to the nearest denomination without overbuying.

Three-tier model:

• Minimum — Fund draws up to the soft odds range only. Accept a real chance of missing Okarun. Best for collectors who also value frames, bubbles, and the Minion Skin.

• Jungle main → Okarun (Lam/Lan). Legendary tier, most complete visual package, highest per-match usage.
• Mid main → Jiji (Mozi). Epic tier, violet beam VFX, cursed containment ultimate field — strong upgrade if Mozi's already in your rotation.
• Neither hero played → Skip the gacha, clear the free tier plus token exchange.
• Collector → Okarun first from August 1, reassess after Jiji enters the pool August 7 and the Golden Egg grand prize drops August 14.

Readability note from ranked play: heavy dark red and violet effect layers can obscure your own skillshot indicators in cluttered teamfights. Test Okarun's masked ultimate and Jiji's containment barrier in casual or Super Flow Brawl (returns August 1–27) before trusting them in ranked.

Misconceptions That Cost Money

• Luck resets at server reset. Draw counters track cumulative pulls, not calendar days.
• Switching region or time zone improves odds. It doesn't — it only risks account and delivery complications.
• Leftover tokens carry to the next collab. Assume event currency expires August 31.
• The biggest bundle is always cheapest. Cheapest per token is irrelevant if you overbuy past your guarantee count. Buy the smallest increments that reach your target.
