Check the coin count, not the price. On 2026-11-04, Apple listed up to four Poppo Live coin packs at the same price in 8 App Stores, each 1/14 smaller than the last. Malaysia's RM4.90 shows 7,000, 6,500, 6,000 and 5,500 coins. And in the US, bigger packs give slightly fewer coins per dollar.
That's the whole story in one line. The rest of this page is the receipts: every number, the store it came from, and the date I read it.
I've bought coins on Poppo for friends in a few countries. The thing that trips people up isn't the price. It's that the price tag looks identical while the coin number underneath it changes.
What's new on this page
Our 2026-10-28 piece was about where a viewer's dollar ends up. This one is about the moment before you pay. Here's what you won't find on Google's first page right now:
- 8 App Stores side by side (US, UK, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia), all read on the same day, 2026-11-04.
- The 1/14 step pattern: almost every reduced listing is exactly 1/14, 2/14 or 3/14 smaller than the full pack.
- Why "bigger is better" is backwards on the US App Store.
- What's in versions 3.2.0–3.2.3 (iOS) and the current Android build.
- Fan club costs in coins and dollars, straight from the official site's text.
- Player questions from Google Play reviews that keep getting likes but no clear answer.
- A 60-second pre-purchase check you can run on any phone.
Quick SERP check (2026-11-04)
I searched "Poppo Live coins price recharge 2026" on 2026-11-04. All of the top 5 results use declarative titles (price lists, guides, "Top Up" pages). Zero question titles, so this page uses a declarative title too.
The 1/14 pattern, explained in 30 seconds
Poppo's standard App Store packs are built on multiples of 7,000 coins: 7,000, 21,000, 70,000, 210,000.
The extra listings at the same price take away 500, 1,000 or 1,500 coins per 7,000. That's 1/14, 2/14 or 3/14.
| Share of full pack | Per 7,000 coins | Example (same price) |
|---|---|---|
| 100% | 7,000 | 7,000 coins |
| 92.86% (−1/14) | 6,500 | 6,500 coins |
| 85.71% (−2/14) | 6,000 | 6,000 coins |
| 78.57% (−3/14) | 5,500 | 5,500 coins |
So if you ever see a "weird" number like 19,500, 65,000 or 195,000, you're looking at a −1/14 listing. 18,000, 60,000 and 180,000 are −2/14. 165,000 is −3/14.

Important: Apple lists these items. The App Store page doesn't say which ones the app actually offers you on your account today. It also shows at most 10 in-app items per store, so the full list can be longer. What you can do is check the coin number on the purchase sheet before you confirm (steps below).
8 App Stores, one day: every same-price group I found
All rows below come from the "In-App Purchases" section of Poppo Live's App Store page (app id1544908797, version 3.2.3, seller Vshow PTE. LTD.), read on 2026-11-04. Prices are in local currency. I didn't convert them, because exchange rates and taxes would muddy the comparison.

Sources: Apple App Store pages for Poppo Live in each country (US, UK, DE, JP, MY, ID, PH, SA), all read 2026-11-04.
What jumps out
- 31 same-price groups across 8 stores. Every store has at least three.
- Four counts at one price shows up once: Malaysia RM4.90.
- The US is the only store where I saw a −3/14 listing on the big $29.99 pack (165,000 coins).
- The UK and Germany lean on −2/14 (6,000 / 18,000 / 60,000 / 180,000).
- The Philippines and Indonesia mostly show −1/14 only, apart from Indonesia's Rp19k group.
- One row breaks the pattern: Malaysia RM0.90 lists 1,800 and 1,650 coins. That gap is 1/12, not 1/14.
Small oddities worth knowing
These came out of the same 2026-11-04 read:
| Store | Listing | Why it's odd |
|---|---|---|
| UK | 1,800 coins for £0.29 | The US, Japan, Indonesia and Saudi stores list 2,100 coins at their lowest tier ($0.29, ¥50, Rp5k, SAR 0.99) |
| Germany | 180,000 coins for €34.99 | The UK lists 180,000 at £29.99, and no 210,000 pack was among Germany's 10 shown items |
| Malaysia | 60,000 coins for RM49.90 | Malaysia's 70,000 pack wasn't among the 10 items shown |
Don't read too much into missing items. The 10-item cap means a pack can exist and still not show on the page.
Why bigger packs don't buy more coins (US App Store)
Most apps reward big spenders with bonus coins. On the US App Store, Poppo does the opposite. Look at the full packs only:
| US App Store pack | Price | Coins per $1 |
|---|---|---|
| 2,100 | $0.29 | 7,241 |
| 7,000 | $0.99 | 7,071 |
| 21,000 | $2.99 | 7,023 |
| 70,000 | $9.99 | 7,007 |
| 210,000 | $29.99 | 7,002 |
The smallest pack gives about 3.3% more coins per dollar than the $29.99 pack. It's because every pack is a flat multiple of 7,000 coins per "$1", and the ".99" pricing shaves a bigger share off small amounts. (Apple App Store US, read 2026-11-04.)
Now add the reduced listings:
| Reduced US listing | Price | Coins per $1 | Coins lost vs full pack |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6,500 | $0.99 | 6,566 | 500 |
| 19,500 | $2.99 | 6,522 | 1,500 |
| 65,000 | $9.99 | 6,507 | 5,000 |
| 195,000 | $29.99 | 6,502 | 15,000 |
| 165,000 | $29.99 | 5,502 | 45,000 |
That last row is the one to watch. 45,000 coins is more than six $0.99 packs' worth, gone at the same $29.99.

[ORIGINAL GRAPHIC] Coins per US$1 for all 10 US App Store listings (red = reduced listing at the same price) vs three Buffget packs. Sources: Apple App Store US, Poppo Live id1544908797 (v3.2.3), and buffget.com/goods/poppo-live-coins, both read 2026-11-04. Chart by Buffget.
So which App Store pack should you buy?
My rule with friends is simple:
- Buy the amount you'll actually spend. Big packs don't save you anything per coin on the US App Store.
- Never confirm a "weird" number. If the sheet shows 6,500, 19,500, 65,000, 165,000 or 195,000 coins, back out and look again.
- If you top up often, compare channels. That's where the real difference is (next section).
App Store vs Google Play vs Buffget (same coins, different prices)
Google Play
Google Play doesn't publish Poppo's pack list. The store page only shows "$0.09 – $204.99 per item" for in-app products (Google Play US listing for Poppo Live – Live Stream, read 2026-11-04). The current Android build is 5.4.550.0917, updated 2026-10-15, with 10,000,000+ installs and about 256,860 ratings averaging 4.2.
The newest dated Android top-up screen I could verify is from a video uploaded on 2024-09-09. It shows a clean 7,000-coins-per-$1 ladder with no reduced items:

[IMAGE] Android "Top-up coins" screen with Google Pay packs 7,000/$0.99 up to 1,400,000/$199.99. Source: frame at 0:30 of "How to Buy Coins on Poppo Live", MiniProTips, YouTube, uploaded 2024-09-09. 2024 prices, not today's.
| Google Pay pack (2024-09-09 screen) | Price | Coins per $1 |
|---|---|---|
| 7,000 | $0.99 | 7,071 |
| 21,000 | $2.99 | 7,023 |
| 70,000 | $9.99 | 7,007 |
| 210,000 | $29.99 | 7,002 |
| 350,000 | $49.99 | 7,001 |
| 700,000 | $99.99 | 7,001 |
| 1,400,000 | $199.99 | 7,000 |
That's two years old. Use it to know what the screen looks like, not as today's price.

[GIF] Tapping the 21,000-coin pack opens the Google Play sheet at $2.99; read the item name before you pay. Source: "How to Buy Coins on Poppo Live", MiniProTips, YouTube, uploaded 2024-09-09, clip 0:38–0:48 (account details blurred by Buffget).
Buffget
Here's the Poppo Live coins top-up page on Buffget, read 2026-11-04. I'm quoting this one page only (buffget.com/goods/poppo-live-coins); Buffget has a second Poppo page with a slightly different pack list.
| Coins | US App Store | Buffget | Buffget coins per $1 | You save |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7,000 | $0.99 | $0.78 | 8,974 | 21.2% |
| 21,000 | $2.99 | $2.35 | 8,936 | 21.4% |
| 70,000 | $9.99 | $7.83 | 8,940 | 21.6% |
| 210,000 | $29.99 | $23.48 | 8,944 | 21.7% |
| 700,000 | no listing | $78.29 | 8,941 | — |
| 2,100,000 | no listing | $234.87 | 8,941 | — |
Two honest notes:
- Buffget's rate is also flat (about 8,940 coins per $1 on almost every pack), so big packs don't get a bonus there either.
- I compared against the full App Store packs. If your iPhone shows you a reduced listing, the gap is bigger. 165,000 coins for $29.99 works out to $0.18 per 1,000 coins. Buffget's 210,000 pack is about $0.11 per 1,000.
Ignore any crossed-out "original price" badges when comparing. The fair test is coins per dollar against the price you'd actually pay elsewhere.
The 60-second pre-purchase check
Run this every time, whichever channel you use.
- Open your profile and copy your user ID. Copy it; don't retype it.
- Tap Coins to open "Top-up coins". Note your remaining coins.
- Read the coin number on the tile you tap, not just the price.
- On the Apple or Google sheet, read the item name again. It includes the coin count.
- If the number ends in 500, or is 18,000 / 60,000 / 165,000 / 180,000, you're on a reduced listing. Cancel and pick again.
- After paying, go back to "Top-up coins" and check that the balance went up by the right amount.
- Keep the receipt. Apple and Google both email one.

If coins don't show up
- Close and reopen the app, then check "Top-up coins" again.
- The 2024 Android top-up screen shows the line "If you encounter top-up issues, please contact customer service" at the bottom. Use that route first.
- For iOS, Poppo's developer replies on the App Store point users to ios.official@poppolive.com (developer reply to a review dated 2026-10-17, read 2026-11-04). The App Store listing also shows the seller as Vshow PTE. LTD.
What's new in the app (versions 3.2.0 to 3.2.3)
From the App Store version history, read 2026-11-04:
| iOS version | Date | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 3.2.3 | 2026-10-19 | AI assistant for live hosts that gives reminders about important info during broadcasts; iOS 27 compatibility and display fixes |
| 3.2.2 | 2026-09-22 | iOS 27 compatibility, transparent glass effect on iOS 26, better search recommendations |
| 3.2.1 | 2026-08-31 | Custom presets for beauty effects; video sending in private chats |
| 3.2.0 | 2026-08-12 | Speech-to-text in live rooms; Dynamic Island support |
None of these notes mention coin prices. The reduced listings in the big table above sit alongside version 3.2.3.
On Android, Google Play shows version 5.4.550.0917, updated 2026-10-15 (read 2026-11-04). The Play listing doesn't show a changelog for that build.
Fan club costs: coins and dollars
The official site (poppolive.com) includes the fan-club text in its page code. Here's what it says, read 2026-11-04:
| Action | Coin cost on poppolive.com | ≈ US App Store ($0.99 per 7,000) | ≈ Buffget ($0.78 per 7,000) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Join a host's fan club | 100 coins | $0.014 | $0.011 |
| Rename your fan club | 10,000 coins | $1.41 | $1.11 |
The same text lists how fans earn "Fan Power Points":
| Task (poppolive.com text) | Coins per Fan Power Point |
|---|---|
| Send 10 "Fan Light Boards" | 100 coins = +1 point |
| Send gifts (excluding lucky gifts) | 1,000 coins = +1 point |
| Send 10k lucky gifts | 2,000 coins = +1 point |
Translation: lucky gifts count half as much toward fan level as regular gifts, coin for coin. If you're pushing a friend's fan club up, regular gifts are the better use of coins.

Player questions that keep getting likes (and what we can actually say)
I read the most-relevant Google Play reviews for Poppo Live – Live Stream in the US, Philippines, Indonesia, India and Saudi stores on 2026-11-04, filtered for coins, points and payouts. "Likes" means the review's helpful votes on that date.
| Question players keep asking | Review date and store | Helpful votes |
|---|---|---|
| "My points dropped from 100k to 70k when I withdrew. Is that a bug?" | 2024-01-26, Philippines | 2,576 |
| "Why can I only convert points to coins in limited amounts?" (1,000 points → 900 coins example) | 2025-05-28, Philippines | 217 |
| "Why can't we gift ourselves? People scam us in coin-for-points trades." | 2026-04-24 and 2026-05-25, US | 72 and 35 |
| "Points split into confirmed and unconfirmed is frustrating." | 2026-07-17, US | 29 |
| "My withdrawal requests were rejected." | 2026-06-22, US | 58 |
Points "to be confirmed"
The Points page has three boxes: Available points, Points to be confirmed, and Total points from income. Below it there's an Income breakdown (Livestream, Party, Commission, Transfer points, Platform Rewards) and three buttons: Withdraw now, Exchange Points for Coins, Transfer.

[GIF] Points page: Available points, Points to be confirmed, Total points from income, the Income list, and the Withdraw / Exchange Points for Coins / Transfer buttons. Source: "How to Exchange Points to Coins On Poppo Live", Zik the Programming Guy, YouTube, uploaded 2024-09-06, clip 0:51–1:00.
If your number looks short, compare "Available" with "To be confirmed" first. Only the available box is spendable. Tap Details at the top right for the line-by-line history.
Exchanging points for coins
The exchange button sits right under "Withdraw now". If you're a host who also gifts, exchanging points is how you turn earnings back into coins without paying again. One reviewer with 217 helpful votes reported a 1,000-points-to-900-coins example (2025-05-28). Treat that as one user's screen, and read the rate on your own exchange page before you confirm.
[VIDEO] “How to Exchange Points to Coins On Poppo Live” — Zik the Programming Guy, YouTube, uploaded 2024-09-06. Opens the Points page and the Exchange Points for Coins button (84 s). The Points page shows from about 0:51.
"Can I trade coins with other users?"
Players asking for self-gifting do it because person-to-person coin-for-points trades go wrong. Two reviews with 72 and 35 helpful votes (2026-04-24, 2026-05-25) say the same thing. My advice: don't pay a stranger first, ever. Buy coins only to your own user ID through a channel that gives you a receipt.
FAQ
Is the reduced App Store pack a scam? No. It's an Apple-listed in-app item from the official seller, Vshow PTE. LTD. It just gives fewer coins at the same price. Check the number before you pay.
Does a bigger App Store pack give bonus coins? Not on the US App Store. On 2026-11-04 the $0.29 pack gave 7,241 coins per dollar and the $29.99 pack gave 7,002.
Which country's App Store has the most variants at one price? Malaysia, at RM4.90: 7,000, 6,500, 6,000 and 5,500 coins (2026-11-04).
Is Google Play cheaper than the App Store? I can't give you today's Play pack list; the store only shows "$0.09 – $204.99 per item". The latest dated Android screen (2024-09-09) shows the same 7,000-per-$1 ladder as iOS.
How much is 10,000 coins in dollars? About $1.41 at the US App Store's $0.99-per-7,000 rate, or about $1.12 at Buffget's 70,000-for-$7.83 rate (both 2026-11-04).
What changed in Poppo Live 3.2.3? An AI assistant for hosts that gives reminders during broadcasts, plus iOS 27 fixes. Released 2026-10-19.
Who do I email about an iOS purchase problem? The developer's App Store replies point to ios.official@poppolive.com (seen on a review dated 2026-10-17).
Bottom line
- One price can mean four different coin counts. Read the number every time.
- On the US App Store, small packs are fractionally better per dollar than big ones.
- The real saving comes from the channel: about 21% on Buffget versus full US App Store packs, more if you'd otherwise hit a reduced listing.
- Fan club rename = 10,000 coins. Regular gifts build fan power twice as fast as lucky gifts.
