Where Winds Meet Moondrop Top Up: $4.99 Card vs Bead Packs
Where Winds Meet Moondrop top up: the $4.99 Monthly Card returns the most over 30 days; one-time packs add first-purchase bonuses up to 72 beads per $1.
What you get for your money
If you'll log in on most days this month, buy the $4.99 Monthly Card first — it's the most efficient Moondrop purchase the shop sells. One-time Echo Bead packs cover instant bulk and carry a first-purchase bonus you get exactly once per pack size.
Moondrop is the premium currency (Echo Beads in the in-client shop) and only comes from real money. Moon Jade — Echo Jade — is the earnable side: trial bounties pay 100+ per run, and chests, quests, and daily logins add more. Beads fund pulls and the Appearances shop, where cosmetics run 60–2,580 beads each. Jade funds Internal Arts, Activity Shop stock, Resonating Melodies for the free banner, and VIP Shop items.
Web recharge is the third route and usually the cheapest cash channel, since some sellers list packs 14–15% under official store pricing. Check live rates on where winds meet moondrop top up before committing to a pack size — regional quotes move with every patch.
Official US prices are fixed, but your storefront may quote a different total, and platform fees are already folded into the listed price. Read the in-shop figure at checkout.
How the Monthly Card pays out

$4.99 splits into two very different payouts. 300 Echo Beads and 90,000 Coins land the second the purchase clears — 60 beads per $1, the same flat rate as the smallest pack. The rest arrives on a timer: 100 Echo Jade and 50 Battle Pass EXP per daily login, which works out to 3,000 Jade and 1,500 EXP over 30 days, plus one Lingering Melody at day 20.
It also opens the VIP Shop. Dyes like the Dreamtint Kit cost 25 Jade there, a Message Horn: Far server broadcast costs 50, and the Transformation Pill — the only gender change in the game — costs 6,400.
Missed days
Payouts deliver only through daily login. No banking, no auto-claim, no catch-up. Skip a day and the published rules give you nothing for it — count a missed login as 100 Jade gone. If you routinely vanish for a week, the card's real return collapses.
Buying a second card doesn't recover a miss. Each extra pass adds 300 Echo Beads instantly and stretches the daily reward window by another 30 days, up to five or six active at once.
When the 30 days end
The drip stops and the pass expires on its own — nothing to cancel. The advertised 1200% Bountiful Yield works out to roughly 3,600 beads of total value, but only 300 of that is raw Echo Beads; the rest is equivalent item value in Jade, Coins, and the day-20 Melody. Budget against the 300.
A plain $4.99 top-up delivers 300 beads and zero login rewards. The card and a direct purchase aren't the same product.
Moondrop packs and the first-purchase bonus

Every pack sits at a flat 60 Echo Beads per $1 before bonuses. The first-purchase bonus is what separates them, and it's account-based — once per pack size, never again.
| Pack | Price | First-purchase bonus | Total beads | Beads per $1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 60 | $0.99 | +60 Echo Jade | 60 | 60.6 |
| 180 | $2.99 | +180 Echo Jade | 180 | 60.2 |
| 300 | $4.99 | +300 Jade, +30 beads | 330 | 66.1 |
| 600 | $9.99 | +600 Jade, +68 beads | 668 | 66.9 |
| 900 | $14.99 | +900 Jade, +115 beads | 1,015 | 67.7 |
| 1,800 | $29.99 | +1,800 Jade, +268 beads | 2,068 | 68.9 |
| 3,000 | $49.99 | +3,000 Jade, +458 beads | 3,458 | 69.2 |
| 6,000 | $99.99 | +6,000 Jade, +1,200 beads | 7,200 | 72.0 |
| 12,000 | $199.99 | +12,000 Jade, +2,400 beads | 14,400 | 72.0 |
Read the table bottom-up. The top two tiers both land at 72 beads per $1 with the bonus applied — the lowest per-bead cash price in the list, against 60 on a repeat purchase. The small tiers barely move: the 60 and 180 packs pay their bonus in Jade, so their bead rate stays at base.
Two rules people trip on: the bonus is per size (buying the 600 twice means the second is a flat 600 beads), and it follows the account — a bonus spent on a throwaway character is spent.
Cost per Moondrop
Base rate is 60/$1 everywhere, including the card's instant 300 beads. With the one-time bonus, single purchases climb to 66–72/$1. The card's advantage isn't in that column at all — it's the 30-day tail of Jade, Battle Pass EXP, and the Melody that no pack replicates.
Bulk beats the card when you need beads today. A full Celestial Echo pity run is 150 pulls at 200 beads each, roughly 30,000 beads or about $500 at base rate. Monthly Cards can't front that. The 3,000 and 6,000 packs can, and with the bonus they're the efficient way to fund it.
For $5–20 a month, buy the card first and the Elite Battle Pass second if you want the season outfit. At $50–200, add the biggest pack your unspent first-time bonus still covers. At $200+, combine the Collection Battle Pass with stacked cards, then buy packs in bulk.
Charging on the web instead of the client

In-client, the path is Main Menu → Shop → slide to the Top Up page → pick an Echo Bead amount → finish in the platform store. Your Character ID shows after you press ESC in game; copy it before you start anything third-party.
The web route skips storefront pricing. If you want to buy moondrop web recharge, buffget keeps rates competitive and asks only for your Character ID and server — never your password.
Delivery on most recharge platforms completes within minutes of payment; operator-model sellers buy the pack for you through the official store, and first orders can take around 20 minutes. Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal are the usual payment methods. First-time bonuses still apply when the top-up processes to the right account.
Regional pricing cuts both ways. Official rates include platform fees already, so a listing that undercuts the norm by far more than 14–15% is worth questioning. Confirm the quote in your own currency before paying.
Pick the right purchase
A casual explorer who logs in a few times a week should buy nothing but the Monthly Card and let the Jade accumulate. An outfit collector wants the Collection tier at $19.99 for its +10 instant levels and 2 Lingering Melodies, then saves beads for Appearances rather than pulls. A returning player catching up on rotations should spend one-time bonuses on the 600–1,800 tiers before anything else — those bonuses never come back.
The Battle Pass earns its keep either way: the Elite track at $9.99 returned roughly 1.5–2x its price in the Version 1.7 season (May 28–June 25, 2026), breaking even around tier 35–40, while Collection broke even at tier 25–30. Cosmetics on the paid track are season-exclusive and don't return.
Spending Moondrop without regret
A Legendary at Celestial Echo costs 200 beads per pull, shares a 150-pull pity counter with the free Solemn Echo banner, and has no duplicate protection — pulling a Legendary you already own refunds nothing. Harmonic Cores drop at 0.747% per pull, and two of them buy one Draw Shop outfit or mount, roughly 268 pulls or about $893. The Mirage Boat mount needs 170 Cores; leave that to whales.
Special Pathway pools are friendlier: once the rarest item drops, every remaining reward in the pool is granted automatically. Every gacha result is cosmetic — no weapons, no stats, no characters.
Spend beads in this order: Monthly Card activation, then Lingering Melodies saved for Celestial Echo, then direct Appearances purchases if you dislike the odds, then Special Pathway pools. Jade handles the rest — Internal Arts, Activity Shop items, and free-banner pulls at 160 Jade each. Free code WWMGO1114 is worth a look: Settings > Other > Exchange Code, rewards in the Letters tab.
When a top up goes wrong
Missing beads usually mean one of three things: a delayed order during high-traffic hours, a purchase made on the wrong account, or a top-up sent to the wrong region. Purchases are non-transferable between platforms — PlayStation beads don't follow you to Steam — and cross-progression only works if the account was linked before characters were created on both sides.
Share your Character ID and server, never a password. Keep the order confirmation. Avoid listings priced far below the norm. Refunds run through the storefront you paid — Steam or the PlayStation Store — not in-game support, and gacha purchases include random items, so spend accordingly.
Questions players ask
Is the Monthly Card worth it in Where Winds Meet?
Yes, if you log in most days. Its return depends entirely on the daily login window: 100 Jade and 50 Battle Pass EXP per day over 30 days. If you play in bursts and skip weeks, the flat first-purchase pack bonus is the better bet — there's no catch-up mechanic to recover missed days.
What's the cheapest way to top up Moondrop?
Web recharge channels generally undercut in-client storefront pricing, and the top pack tiers carry the lowest per-bead rate of any single purchase. Compare the live quote against the in-shop price before you pay, since regional storefronts may quote a different total and platform fees are already folded in.
Can I stack two Monthly Cards in Where Winds Meet?
Yes. Each extra card adds its instant 300 beads and extends the daily reward window by another 30 days. There's an upper limit of five or six active at once, so don't buy a dozen — extra cards only stretch the window, they don't recover skipped days.
What happens if I miss a Monthly Card daily claim?
The daily payout is tied to login, so a skipped day is a skipped payout. There's no banking mechanic, and stacking cards doesn't retroactively restore it. Count each missed day as 100 Echo Jade lost, and reconsider the card if your schedule regularly takes you away from the game.
Why is my Moondrop top up not showing up?
Check which account and region you paid for first — wrong-account and wrong-region orders are the most common cause. Delivery usually completes within minutes, so if the order is confirmed and beads still aren't there after an hour, contact the seller's support with your order ID and Character ID.
Can I get a refund for a Moondrop purchase?
Refunds follow the platform storefront policy you bought through, not the game's — Steam or the PlayStation Store handles them. Anything already spent on pulls or cosmetics generally can't be recovered, so verify the pack size and account before confirming payment.
